Click here for Family interactive plays for your own reenactment! Photo Rights: Posh Travel Guide The Lewis and Clark Expedition reenactors from St. Charles, Missouri, landed in Chinook, Washington, November 8, 2005, spending 18 days on the Long Beach Washington Peninsula. Chinook, Chinook Indians, Ilwaco Harbor, Cape Disappointment, Long Beach City Center, Seaview, Discovery Trail. The St. Charles reenactment Camp was at Chinook Park, and very likely the original location for the first corps, on the 24 of November, Thanksgiving day, many attended the commemorated Vote which included a surprise Thanksgiving dinner for all who attended. A big thank you to the Historical Society. On November 25, the corps floated to Fort Clatsop setting up Winter Camp. Everything has taken place just like the voyage of discovery 200 years ago..
The photo above and many to follow are brought to us by Private Shannon, (Bob Anderson) POSH TRAVEL GUIDE has the good fortune of trading End of the Trail commemoratives for print rights of his 4100 mile Journey.
